 "Advanced Info" View

The "Advanced Info" view contains an additional structured information about your HDDs. It includes:

  • manufacturer

  • model

  • serial number

  • firmware revision

  • logical geometry (cylinders, tracks, sectors per track)

  • physical geometry (cylinders, tracks per cylinder, sectors per track, bytes per sector). This section is available only on the operation systems based on the MS Windows NT platform.

  • capacity (in sectors and megabytes)

  • buffer size in kilobytes

  • free space in megabytes

  • logical drives. Each logical drive is described by:

    • label

    • file system

    • total and free space

    • compression flag

  • Device features section:

    • S.M.A.R.T. version

    • Transfer modes section (supported and current modes, min and recommended transfer time, etc.)

    • Drive features section (set of commands that is supported by HDD)

    • Security features section (erase time, security level and so on)
